In-Depth Master Tung’s Magic Points – Part 2 – San Diego, California

June 30, 2018 - July 1, 2018

$275 – $450

Part Two of the In-Depth Series, focuses on building treatments around the primary and constitutionally based points found in Tung’s Acupuncture. Saturday’s class begins with the study of points on the calves, and will proceed to thigh points. These leg points use two to six needles per pattern, to which other points (for example: finger, toe or head points) may be added to complete or fine tune for an excellent acupuncture treatment. Leg points treat organ systems and though some points may be needled unilaterally to treat pain or structural problems (muscle, tendon, bone, nerve or blood vessel), they are most frequently used bilaterally, for many conditions, including hepatitis, heart disease, asthma, nephritis, and allergies. As we move through the leg points, studying their use in relation to whole body organ issues, points from the first weekend (Part One) will be mentioned as possible additions. For those who have not studied Master Tung’s Magic Points but are interested in attending In-Depth Part Two, I recommend my introductory youtube at
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myxkI0HqxFU, which provides a basic theoretical
background necessary for properly applying the points. It is necessary to study the points
covered in Part One in order to fully understand the basic theory, though this may be done
before or after taking Part Two. Part Two includes foundational material at the very core of
Tung’s unique acupuncture system.

Sunday’s class includes some of the points found on the face and head, as well as points that
are commonly bled on the dorsal trunk. On Sunday afternoon, Susan will present a crucial piece
of advanced theory in order to sharpen student’s understanding of the way in which Tung’s
Acupuncture works, and elucidate Master Tung’s Magic Points extraordinary effectiveness.
In this two-day seminar Susan presents points from Master Tung’s system with precise
anatomical location, operative theory, indications, point combinations, and case studies. Video
clips show exact point location and needling technique for points discussed in class. Students
will learn unique and practical tools that will allow them to use the points immediately and
effectively.

CEU/PDA credits: 13 units, CAB & NCCAOM approved.

Handouts will be provided; no books are required.

Cancellation policy: 80% refund, up to two weeks prior to the class, none thereafter.
